Continuously striving to better our software products with new additions and improvements, SAi is pleased to release Service Pack 2 for Flexi 8.5v1 and PhotoPRINT 6.0v1. The changes are numerous so some of the significant ones are highlighted here, but read the attached ReadMe files for the complete list. Kindly make sure to distribute these info’s among your colleagues as appropriate.
General Improvements include
· Improved processing performance
· Production Manager can now be connected across a TCP/IP network with a single softkey.
· Spot colors within one job will not affect other jobs within nested output
· Several Color Mapping improvements, including unique swatch names, allowing for the use of multiple swatch tables in the queue
· Improved printing of Duotone gradients
· Installed plug-ins are now scanned and loaded automatically (even if no Photoshop installed) for plug-ins added to folder: Program FilesSAiSAi Production SuiteAdobe Plug-ins
· 40 + new Cutter Drivers
· Over 100+ new Printer Drivers have been added
· An additional 14 new Engraver Drivers included
Numerous Color Management Improvements have been implemented, including:
· A New option to print as “Negative” has been added to the Color Adjustment tab of Job Properties
· Improved Total Ink Limits when creating ICC profiles with large number of color channels
· Variations command improved under Windows Vista
· Consistent output results between files printed from “RIP and Print” and “Production Manager/PhotoPRINT”
· HP Z series now has an option to measure immediately after printing
Due to the number of improvements made in this new Service Pack 2, it requires its own installation DVD. You may submit a special request if a customer requires it on CD.
